Vivendi Partners With AnyClip

12 May, 2011 By: Chris Tribbey

Israeli company AnyClip has added content from Vivendi Entertainment to its arsenal of available videos that allows consumers to access any clip from a film, searchable by actor, scene details, quotes, objects and more.

The agreement gives AnyClip.com access to Vivendi’s library, which includes the World Wrestling Entertainment, Classic Media, RHI, Shout! Factory, Salient and Code Black brands.

The deal brings AnyClip’s online, searchable video library to more than 7,000 videos, including content from Universal, First Look and Virgil.

“When we think about distributing Vivendi’s content or any of our video content, we’re obviously looking at the big entertainment websites, but we’re also looking at the opportunity to enhance websites in vertical industries like travel, sports, fashion and dating,” said AnyClip CEO Oren Nauman. “With our relevant licensed video clips, we’re offering them a new way to keep users engaged and, more importantly, keep them on the site.”

Yolanda Macias, EVP of acquisitions and business development for Vivendi, added: “Vivendi Entertainment is committed to implementing new and innovative ways for consumers to enjoy our extensive library of entertainment. And AnyClip does just that by engaging consumers in a way that is truly unique to the entertainment industry.”
